After completing his specialty GP training with the Royal Australian College of General practitioners he then joined Newtown Medical Centre in 2013, subsequently becoming practice principal in 2018.
He enjoys all aspects of general practice and most enjoys the relationships formed with patients and their families whilst caring and managing their health and wellbeing. He welcomes all new patients to the practice and will happily take on any medical issue whether simple or complex. His typical day would range from seeing babies, children and families to the elderly, and it is this variety of presentations that he loves about his job. He brings enthusiasm and compassion to each consultation, and his relaxed manner sets patients at ease.
He also has a passion for teaching the next generation of doctors. He Supervises General practice trainees, examines aspiring GPs with the College of General Practitioners and holds the position of senior lecturer in General Practice at Deakin University.
