Originally from the bush of the Yarra Valley, Kesh moved to Geelong in 2015 to study Medicine at Deakin University. He completed his Internship and Residency at University Hospital Geelong before joining the team at Newtown Medical Centre.
Kesh is a GP who is passionate about his role in educating and empowering his patients over their lifetime. He particularly enjoys looking after babies, children, and adolescents in General Practice, and concurrently works as part of Barwon Health’s pediatrics team.
Beyond GP training, Kesh has undertaken medical research and Advanced Skills Training in Pediatrics, spending a number of years working across Barwon Health’s Child Health Reseach Unit, Children’s Ward and Special Cre Nursey. He has completed a certificate of Women’s Health and is skilled in the management of common womens health issues, including contraception & family planning, perinatal care and sexual health.
He has completed advanced skills training in Paediatrics, including having recently spent 12 months working with the Barwon Health Paediatrics team across the children’s ward, outpatient clinics and special care nursery. He especially enjoys looking after babies, children, and adolescents in General Practice. He has also completed a Certificate of Women’s Health and is interested in the management of common women’s health issues. Kesh is a registrar, a fully qualified doctor undertaking specialist general practice training.
Outside of work, he can be found spending time with family, tending to his veggie patch, travelling or chipping away at projects around the home.
