Like you, we are waiting for news from the Government about the rollout of Covid vaccines.
Newtown Medical Centre has been approved to act as a Covid Vaccination Clinic but we are waiting to get further information from the Govt about when we will get vaccines and how they want the clinics to work.
When we have any updates we will post them here.
When we have notification of when flu vaccines will be available we will also post any updates here.
We have systems in place to ensure appropriate social distancing measures in our waiting areas if you are coming in for a face to face consultation. Please call reception on 5221 5044 to make an appointment or to ask any questions.
Please let reception know when you are booking your appointment if:
- If you have recently returned from INTERSTATE, been to one of the HOTSPOTS (see here for locations) or you have been in contact with someone who has please let reception know.
- If you have symptoms of FEVER – BREATHING DIFFICULTIES – COUGH – HEADACHE – RUNNY NOSE – SORE THROAT
- Have you had POTENTIAL CONTACT with someone with confirmed Coronavirus
- You are waiting for a Covid test result
