Dr Kaushie De Silva

Kaushie is a general practitioner with fellowship from the RACGP (2022)

She began her career in Sri Lanka , upon graduating from medical school in 2009. She moved to Australia in 2012.

Kaushie has trained as a junior medical officer at Barwon Health and has worked in various specialties including, General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Geriatrics, Palliative care during her residency.

She is also currently pursuing fellowship in advanced rural general practice ( Child Health)  and has completed 12 months of Advanced skills in Paediatrics at University Hospital Geelong. She has also completed Sydney Child Health Programme .

Kaushie also enjoys providing medical care across all life stages and value building long term relationships her patient’s and their families, providing holistic care . Her special interests include child and adolescent health, women’s health including family planning , Chronic disease management, Dermatology and performing minor surgical procedures. She also has a certificate of Dermoscopy for skin checks.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her young family, swimming and travelling.

Kaushie is fluent in English and Singhalese.
