Concussion and its management is an increasingly common and important presentation in General Practice. There have been significant changes in the management of concussion, and our doctors at Newtown Medical can assist you in this management and guide you accordingly.

The assessment and management does take time, so please ensure you book a long appointment (30 minutes) within a timely manner (ideally within 72hrs of the injury) to allow us to complete the required assessment.

We also have referral pathways within the community for more complex concussions or for those experiencing ongoing symptoms and we will ensure you get the help you require.
